Toll Brothers makes donation

More than 600 backpacks plus hundreds of pencils, crayons, folders, rulers and other school supplies were donated to benefit the children of Child Haven after a summer-long backpack drive by Toll Brothers.

"We want to thank the generous members of the public and our partners who went above and beyond to make this drive a success," said Gary Mayo, group president of Toll Brothers Nevada division. "The response was tremendous."

  • Toll Brothers filled four vans and several cars to capacity to deliver the items to Child Haven. In addition to backpacks and school supplies, personal hygiene products and new clothing also were donated at Toll Brothers communities throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The drive was extended past the start of the academic year as donations continued to arrive.
