Family praises Aliante community

The Aliante master-planned community offers a complete living environment, designed to accommodate people of all ages and families of all sizes, according to Dan Naef, senior vice president of North Valley Enterprises LLC, the project's developer.

"Aliante offers a comprehensive master plan, where the residential neighborhoods are balanced by wide-ranging recreational opportunities, educational facilities, retail shopping, restaurants and other conveniences people enjoy having close to home," Naef said. "From the 18-hole championship golf course to the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, two additional city parks, and 24 miles of lighted trails, the amenities incorporated in the Aliante master plan are second to none.

"Best of all," Naef said, "the pricing of the homes available here is extremely competitive, considering the quality of the neighborhoods and surrounding areas and the unique lifestyle and sense of community here."

One family that recently found its new home at Aliante consists of Teresa Tokumon, along with her son Justin Hee, niece Kristine Wakida, and Wakida's husband, Anthony Ciampa. They moved into a new home in Astoria Homes' Fields at Aliante neighborhood.

"We truly love our home here in Aliante," said Teresa Tokumon, who first heard of Astoria Homes when she was introduced by a friend to the company President Tom McCormick.

"I started looking at Astoria Homes neighborhoods because of the referral, but I did my own research and was pleased with what I found," Tokumon said.

"Ultimately, we toured the models at The Fields and knew our search was over. We had found the perfect home and community."

Tokumon and her family chose Residence 765 at The Fields. The two-story home features about 3,176 square feet with five bedrooms, three baths, owners' retreat, bonus room and three-car garage.

As a family oriented group, the homeowners all agree that the connected family room, kitchen and dining nook is their favorite area of the house, as the layout is perfect for social gatherings.

"The floor plan is brilliant," said Ciampa, who works for Station Casinos as a chef. "Astoria Homes did an amazing job with the use of space. The home is open and inviting and flows really well from room to room."

Encompassing more than 1,900 acres, Aliante will have as many as 7,500 homes and a population of about 20,000 when it's complete.

Home builders at Aliante include Astoria Homes, Del Webb, KB Home, Lennar, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes. Homes prices range from the mid-$200,000s to the low $500,000s. In addition, Del Webb is building the age-qualified Sun City Aliante community.
