Trump International Tower and Hotel progresses further

Golden exterior of structure nears completion

The gold-colored exterior of Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas, located on the Strip, is nearing completion, according to Stefanie Schaeffer, vice president of marketing for the structure.

"If you think the outside of our tower is stunning, wait until you see the lobby," she said. "The beauty and sophistication of the building's design is what our residents expect from Trump -- and it will set a new standard for luxury in Las Vegas."

  • Three Austrian crystal chandeliers, designed specifically for Trump, will be featured in the lobby. Measuring 6 feet wide and 7 feet tall, the chandeliers will each contain thousands of hand-strung crystals.

    Other lighting elements include two smaller chandeliers and three floor-to-ceiling crystal columns that glow from within.

    The lobby also features a panel of amber glass, carved in a style reminiscent of Rene Lalique. Framed mirrored panels and gold glass columns add another level of glamour and shine.

    "Every detail of design for Trump Las Vegas is custom and handmade," said Jodi Barnett, designer for Design 360 Unlimited, the project's interior design firm.

    "Residents will be able to discern the quality and intricate level of detail that went into this project."

    The flooring's design features Breccia Oniciata Italian marble stone, which was hand-selected in Italy.

    Trump Las Vegas will include a signature restaurant featuring fine and casual dining; a Trump Spa and Salon; a business center with meeting facilities and a heated outdoor pool with a sundeck and bar.

    All guests and residents of Trump Las Vegas will have access to a 24-hour concierge, white-gloved doormen and valet parking services.

    Tower I, which is set to open in early 2008, will contain 1,282 rooms, including studio units, one-bedroom units and one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites.

    Each unit will feature floor- to-ceiling windows, European-style kitchens with granite countertops, Breccia Oniciata Italian marble floors in the entries and baths, custom-designed vanities with marble countertops, spa tubs in master baths, owner's lockout closets and TV mirrors.

    The recently announced Tower II will offer 1,280 rooms and is scheduled to break ground in 2008.

    Prices for hotel condominium units at Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas range from the $700,000s to $7 million. Select units are available in Tower I. Buyers can live in the unit full-time or part-time, rent it through Trump hotel operations or rent it themselves.

    The Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas Sales Plaza is located at 3128 Las Vegas Blvd. South, on the northwest corner of the Las Vegas Strip and Fashion Show Lane.
