Lennar's Antelope homes offer city views

Antelope by Lennar is a single-family home neighborhood in the northwestern foothills of the valley with views of the city. Its elevation is 2,880 feet above sea level.

Two-story floor plans range from 1,302 to 1,775 square feet. Prices start in the $200,000s.

  • The gated neighborhood features a swimming pool, spa and clubhouse.

    The homes are set in cul-de-sacs. Each has its own private, fully enclosed rear yard and a landscaped front yard with irrigation system.

    The neighborhood comes with upgraded features that are included in the cost of the home.

    Some of them are granite kitchen countertops, raised-panel oak cabinetry, stainless-steel sinks and coordinated stainless-steel General Electric appliance package with a side-by-side refrigerator, upgraded washer and dryer and 2-inch faux wood blinds.

    The residences also include high tech CAT-5E wiring with a distribution panel, and extensive prewiring for phones, cable and ceiling fans.

    Lennar also provides the garage-door opener at no charge.

    Antelope is an Energy Star-certified neighborhood, which saves the homeowner money on utility bills, according to the home builder.

    The floor plans feature two bedrooms with a loft, three bedrooms, or three bedrooms with a loft. All include 21/2 baths.

    The Eland and Impalas models offer a two-car garage. The other home designs provide for a one-car garage.

    The 1,578-square-foot Sable floor plan features two master bedroom suites, one located on each floor of the home. Both bedrooms feature an interior bath.

    The neighborhood is near Providence, a 1,200-acre master plan in the northwestern valley.

    When the community is complete, it will include three parks. One will be a centerpiece park that will span blocks and create a promenade. The other two parks will house soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, kids' playgrounds, picnic areas and baseball and softball fields.

    To visit the Welcome Home Center at Antelope, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, turn west to Frontage Road (Oso Blanca Road), then north to Severance Lane, west to North Grand Canyon Road and right on Grand Canyon. The neighborhood is at the corner of Grand Canyon and Gilcrease Avenue.
