  • Proceeds raised from the Run For A Wish event will be used to fulfill wishes of children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. It is the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada's largest annual fundraiser.

Glynda Rhodes, Rhodes Homes' vice president of interior and architectural design, leads the company's giving efforts and said she especially enjoys working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"The Make-A-Wish Foundation is one of the most inspiring organizations I have worked with over the years," said the Las Vegan native, who is also owner and president of ID Interior Design. "They have made it their mission to give children with life-threatening illnesses a beacon of hope by granting them their ultimate wish. Whether it is a trip to Disneyland or being a princess for a day, this organization gives hope to thousands of children who truly need it."

"Glynda fell in love with these children a few years ago when Rhodes Homes made a wish come true for a child who wanted to go to New York and her design firm, ID Interior Design, did a room makeover. She has been a tireless supporter of Make-A-Wish ever since," Tenney said. "She has an infectious energy that lights up anything she touches. The Run for a Wish is no exception.
