FLAT SCREEN: Meritage offers TV with new home

Buyers in select neighborhoods Feb. 1-24 to receive 'ideal finishing touch'

Meritage Homes is adding a finishing touch, a flat-screen television, to a select seven homes purchased Feb. 1-24 at its Brookline and Summer Trail neighborhoods, sales manager John Tuvell said.

A television will be included with the purchase of completed two-story homes ranging from 2,319 to more than 2,700 square feet, Tuvell said. At Brookline in the northwestern valley, a flat-screen will be included with the purchase of the Bradford and Chelsea designs, and at Summer Trail in the southwestern valley a TV will be included with the Sweetwater and Suncreek floor plans.

  • "Meritage Homes wants our residents to be able to enjoy watching the big game and the big awards show on their new TV in their brand-new home. It will be the ideal finishing touch to the ideal family home," Tuvell said.

"Buyers will have several choices of where to place this great flat-screen TV. It will fit nicely in any of these homes because the designs of the homes feature great rooms and lofts which are ideal for family time and entertaining," he said.

The two-story, 2,319-square-foot Bradford and Sweetwater designs offer three or four bedrooms. Both plans include a first-floor master suite, 21/2 baths and upgrades such as flooring and countertops, Tuvell said.

The Chelsea and Suncreek designs, which range from 2,567 to 2,700 square feet, are similar in many respects, according to the builder.

They include three or four bedrooms, den, two- or three-car garages, a great room and dining room. The kitchens feature an island, pantry, upgraded cabinets, granite countertops and flooring. The second-floor master bedrooms feature a walk-in closet and bath with dual vanities, separate shower and tub, and linen closet. Both the Chelsea and Suncreek start from the low $300,000s.

Brookline is located within Meritage's Northern Terrace neighborhood where three additional single- and two-story neighborhoods are available and priced from the $190,000s. Residents have access to The Club at Northern Terrace, a private facility that features a clubhouse with fitness center and meeting room, outdoor pools and spa, barbecue area and playground.

The neighborhood is located within the Providence master-planned community. To visit Brookline, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and exit north on Hualapai Way. Turn left on Farm Road and follow the signs.

The gated Summer Trail neighborhood is located within the Mountain's Edge master-planned community where Meritage also offers four other neighborhoods, including the Watermarke condominium community.

To visit Summer Trail, take Interstate 15, exit at Blue Diamond Road and travel west to Buffalo Drive. Turn south on Buffalo and proceed past Mountain's Edge Parkway. Follow the signs to the community.

Meritage is also constructing the Geyser Peak neighborhood in North Las Vegas, which is in its final stages of development, and is building four new neighborhoods at the Inspirada master-planned community in Henderson.

The builder's sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Monday when they open at 11 a.m.
