Pardee Homes prepares for grand opening at Rosetta

Mountain's Edge master-planned community hosts celebration within southwestern valley

Pardee Homes is getting ready to introduce Rosetta -- its second new neighborhood in 2008 -- with a grand opening celebration next weekend in the master-planned community of Mountain's Edge in southwest Las Vegas, according to regional sales director Rob Tuvell.

"With homes priced from the mid-$200,000s, Rosetta at Mountain's Edge represents a great value in one of the valley's most popular master-planned communities," Tuvell said. "Rosetta offers quality-built family homes with energy-efficient features in a premier family friendly location."

  • Rosetta's two-story homes feature three to four bedrooms, 21/2 to three baths and two-car garages in 1,444 to 1,881 square feet.

Floor plans include great rooms and personal options such as covered patios and lofts, depending on the plan selected.

"Pardee Homes proudly presents Rosetta as an EnergySmart neighborhood, which means that these homes are enhanced with money-saving and energy-efficient features," Tuvell said.

"Spectrally selective glass will keep Rosetta homes cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Plus, we've included ceiling insulation and sealed ducts for improved air quality."

In addition, each EnergySmart home is independently certified to assure that it exceeds energy code requirements by at least 15 percent, according to Tuvell.

Families in the Mountain's Edge master-planned community have access to parks, play areas, baseball fields, sports fields, an outdoor amphitheater and picnic areas, according to Tuvell.

To reach Rosetta, take Blue Diamond Road west to Buffalo Drive and turn left into the Mountain's Edge community. Proceed south on Buffalo to Cactus Avenue, turn left and follow the signs to the neighborhood.

Pardee Homes has built houses for more than 35,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
