RECREATION: Watermarke rises with amenities

Meritage offers low-maintenance lifestyle at condos

A selection of amenities and a low-maintenance lifestyle have appealed to buyers at Meritage Homes' Watermarke condominium development in the southwestern valley, according to sales manager John Tuvell.

"Watermarke residents can enjoy recreation opportunities within a short walking distance at the community recreation center. A swimming pool, spa and outside fireplace plus a fitness center are great opportunities for residents to enjoy an active and resort-style lifestyle at home," Tuvell said.

"Plus residents can enjoy the perks of living within the Mountain's Edge master-planned community, where more than 500 acres have been allocated for parks, a trail system and open space and where dining and shopping opportunities are readily available," he said.

Tuvell said homeowners appreciate Watermarke's low-maintenance lifestyle.

"All of the common area landscaping and streetscapes are meticulously maintained by the community association which allows our residents to not worry about landscaping and outdoor maintenance issues that are often associated with homeownership," he said.

"And if you consider the livable designs of the homes and the fact that prices start in the high $100,000s, you'll understand why Watermarke has appealed to many different types of buyers, including first-time homeowners, retirees and those from out-of-state."
