TOWERING HEIGHTS: Trump opening nears

64-story Strip tower to offer spa, lobby bar, two restaurants

Residents of Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas will have distinctive dining and a world-class spa at their doorstep when Tower I opens in March, said Stefanie Schaeffer, vice president of marketing for the project.

"No one does the luxury lifestyle better than Trump," Schaeffer said. "The dining and spa experiences at Trump Las Vegas will be unsurpassed by any other high-rise project in town."

  • Opening later in the spring, Trump Las Vegas' signature restaurant, DJT, will showcase the culinary talents of Joe Isidori, former chef at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., and a frequent personal chef of the Trump family. The restaurant will serve a menu of Modern American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A lobby bar will offer residents a place to gather, enjoy a signature cocktail or glass of wine.

"Chef Isidori's cuisine is guaranteed to impress residents and guests of Trump Las Vegas," Schaeffer said.

The poolside restaurant, H2(eau), will offer residents a casual dining environment (eau, pronounced "O," is French for water).

The Spa at Trump will provide residents with a relaxing experience, Schaeffer said. Within its 10,000 square feet will be nine treatment rooms where an array of services and products will be offered, including those of renowned skin-health expert Kate Somerville.

The spa's 1,500-square-foot health club will feature equipment by Technogym, including cardio machines with built-in televisions. After a workout, residents will be able to step outside to the hotel's open-air heated pool where they can take a swim, lounge on the sun deck or enjoy poolside dining.

Tower I has 1,282 rooms, including studio units, one-bedroom units and one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites. Each will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, kitchens with granite countertops, marble floors in entries and baths, vanities with marble countertops, spa tubs in master baths, owner's lockout closets and mirrors with embedded TVs.

All guests and residents of Trump Las Vegas will have access to a 24-hour concierge, doormen and valet parking.

Tower II will offer 1,280 rooms and is scheduled to break ground this year.

Prices for hotel condominium units at Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas range from the $700,000s to $7 million. Select units are available in Tower I.

    Welcome to Vegas, Ms. Schaeffer!
