The Slaters' home of choice was Plan Three, the largest plan, which encompasses 1,426 square feet of living space and includes three bedrooms, 21/2 baths, a living room with fireplace and separate dining room.

"We were drawn to the unique floor plan design," Jamison Slater said. "We appreciate the separate living and dining rooms and the Jack-and-Jill bedrooms really add to the overall charm of the home. We can definitely see ourselves living here for many years to come."

The York Village neighborhood offers a variety of move-in-ready single-family detached homes that begin from the high-$100,000s. There are three two-story floor plans that range from 1,234 to 1,426 square feet. Per plan they include two or three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and direct-access garages.
