Meritage opens models at Inspirada

The grand opening of Meritage Homes' newest models in Henderson drew hundreds of home shoppers who toured eight new models at its City Homes, Village Homes and Estate Homes neighborhoods, according to Meritage marketing executive Jeannette Genovese.

"During our grand opening Get It All event the weekend of May 3 and 4, 322 home shoppers visited our brand-new model homes at three of our four new neighborhoods in the Inspirada master-planned community," Genovese said.

  • "During our grand opening, 11 home buyers took advantage of our unbelievable weekend Get It All home packages that provided buyers new furniture, a home theater system, appliances and even groceries, and a few dozen families became prequalified for mortgages through Meritage's preferred lender," she said.

    Among those visiting during the Get It All event was Manny Martinez, an agent with Prudential Americana who toured the models with his family and clients Michael and Yaneth Avila.

    "We have been looking at brand-new neighborhoods and are absolutely ready to buy a home," Martinez said inside the island kitchen of a Village Homes model.

    "These Meritage homes look great and we decided to visit their neighborhoods because of their grand opening weekend Get It All incentives. You don't have to pay for laundry, groceries or furniture. You even get a TV with your home. It's crazy. I've never seen a promotion like this before."

    The Village Homes neighborhood features three new models and four floor plans that range from 2,207 to more than 2,900 square feet. The two-story, single-family, alley-loaded homes feature up to five bedrooms with loft, den, bonus rooms and up to three-car garage.

    Also designed with garages accessible by alleys is the City Homes neighborhood, which offers three new townhome models with two-car direct-access garages and as many as four bedrooms. The townhomes measure 1,110 to 1,550 square feet.

    Estate Homes feature front driveways. Two of its three designs are modeled and measure 3,039 to more than 3,400 square feet. They offer as many as six bedrooms, island kitchen, and two- and three-car tandem garage.

    To be unveiled at the end of May are three new models and five floor plans at a fourth Meritage neighborhood in Inspirada -- Garden Homes. These two-story designs range from 1,640 to 2,186 square feet and offer as many as five bedrooms.

    The Meritage neighborhoods are located within one of the seven planned villages at Inspirada. Each features a mixture of homes in various sizes, designs and architectural styles.

    To visit, take Interstate 15 south to St. Rose Parkway, travel east and turn south on Executive Airport Road, following the signs. Or, take Eastern Avenue to St. Rose Parkway, head west to Executive Airport Road and then go south.

    Meritage sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when models open at 11 a.m.
