Richmond American opens new model homes

Two new model homes have opened at Glendale, a Richmond American neighborhood in northwestern Las Vegas. Models of the Cassandra and the Verona are open for touring, and the Tuscana plan is also available. All three homes offer layouts with optional attic lofts or suites.

"We're so excited for people to walk through and see these plans for themselves," said sales agent Monique Tatum. "As great as the layouts sound, once you see them for yourself is when you'll really fall in love. The homes are really unique because the optional attics provide a versatile getaway space, whether you want to make it a hobby room or a bedroom for a teenager. And the models are absolutely beautiful, with décor that showcases a brand-new look for Richmond American."

  • The neighborhood features a park with picnic tables and a grassy area. Tatum said the subdivision has home sites available that back to the park.

She said the neighborhood has four homes that are scheduled to be ready by the end of June. They come with granite countertops, upgraded flooring and upgraded cabinetry.

Cassandra measures 2,650 square feet and is priced from the $270,000s. It includes four bedrooms and 21/2 baths, allowing up to six bedrooms and 31/2 baths. The entry has a staircase, and there is a study on the main level.

Upstairs, the master suite features a private bath with a split dual vanity, soaking tub and walk-in closet. The master suite is located apart from the other bedrooms. The second level also houses three secondary bedrooms, full bath and a library, with a fifth bedroom available in lieu of the library.

An optional attic space adds about 350 square feet and can be selected as a loft, bedroom suite or game room and theater with a built-in wet bar and half-bath.

The Verona and Tuscana include three bedrooms and 21/2 baths in 2,350 square feet.

Each floor plan includes a loft that is available as an optional fourth bedroom, as well as an optional third-level attic loft or suite with a private bath and walk-in closet.

Priced from the $260,000s, the Verona features a formal living room, dining room and an open kitchen with a food-preparation island. The master suite offers dual walk-in closets and an optional master retreat.

Priced from the $250,000s, the Tuscana provides a layout that includes a formal dining room and living room, as well as a family room and kitchen. The loft is located at the center of the second level.

To tour the models at Glendale, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Decatur Boulevard and go north. Continue past Grand Teton Drive, and the models will be on the left. For more information, call the sales center at 656-0753.
