Richmond American gives buyers "purchasing power"

With Richmond American's new "Purchasing Power" promotion, home buyers have the power to purchase the home of their dreams, while still keeping some money in their wallets, said Ernest Belair, vice president of sales for the company's Las Vegas North Division.

Through June 1, buyers can enjoy closing cost assistance and discounted upgrades on homes not yet under construction, he said.

  • For quick move-in homes, buyers can take advantage of a special financing offer, according to Belair.

They can also get a bonus by visiting MoreAddedValue.com and entering promotion code LVDM09 to receive a bonus certificate for a washer and dryer, he said.

"This offer is a great way to save some of the out-of-pocket expenses that are usually associated with buying a new home," Belair said.

"All those little details can add up, but if you act now you don't have to worry about it because we'll take care of the cost."

Sales centers and model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Friday when they open at noon. For more information, call 877-420-1868.

Richmond American offers more than 30 neighborhoods and more than 80 floor plans throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Whether buyers are interested in northern Las Vegas, southern Las Vegas or something right in between, they'll be able to find a home and a location to fit their needs, Belair said.

Prices range from the mid-$100,000s to the low $600,000s, and floor plans range from two-bedroom homes with 1,100 square feet, to six-bedroom designs with just over 4,000 square feet.

At the builder's Home Gallery, prospective buyers can browse floor plans, Las Vegas neighborhoods and design options.

"The Home Gallery offers something truly unique to the industry," said Susan Lee, new home manager. "Instead of driving all over town, you can visit the Home Gallery and find everything you need right here.

"You can search communities and floor plans to find the home that fits your needs, and then choose all your finishing touches and design options. This is a place where shopping for a new home isn't time-consuming and difficult; it's convenient and fun," Lee said.

Richmond American home buyers can also take advantage of one-stop shopping convenience with the company's mortgage and insurance affiliates, HomeAmerican Mortgage Corp. and American Home Insurance Agency, Belair said.

The Home Gallery is open to the public and is located at 7770 Dean Martin Drive, Suite D-10.

    Visit 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
