Richmond American offers summer savings

Add this to the list of reasons to love summer: Home buyers can now receive up to $35,000 toward Home Gallery options and upgrades on a new Richmond American home, according to Robert Morganti, the company's vice president of sales.

Those who are interested in quick move-ins can ask about special financing offers through Richmond American's affiliate, HomeAmerican Mortgage Corp., he said.

"Summer is a great time to buy a home because the move-in dates are very desirable," Morganti said. "With a lot of our finished homes, families can move in before the school year starts. Or, they can build from the ground up and be completely settled in plenty of time for the holidays. It's also a great time to buy because of the outstanding prices and choices available."

Richmond American offers more than 80 floor plans throughout Las Vegas, with homes spanning from about 1,100 to over 3,800 square feet.

More than 30 neighborhoods are available across the Las Vegas Valley.

Or, they can narrow down their choices right from the start by calling 877-420-1868. A professional new home specialist can answer questions and guide customers to the ideal location and floor plan.

Susan Lee, new home manager, said: "All of our new home specialists are local, so you know you're getting the most relevant, up-to-date information around.

"Let's say you work on the Strip, we can recommend specific communities that will offer a convenient commute. Maybe you have extended family living with you and want a downstairs bedroom, or you work from home and want a cozy den.

"We can recommend floor plans that will match whatever you're looking for."

Oh it was the summer of 2006... and it is so good to know they are now selling the same home for $150k less.... thanks guys....I appreciate the way you are helping my equity go right down the crapper. I don't blame the economy, I blame you. Your salespeople knew darn well the value of the house I was buying was dropping like a rock but did they ever let on that it might be an issue? Heck no. Do I share responsibility? sure I do,but when I deal with people who obviously have no ethics it makes me sick. The profits they must have made on my home had to have been massive...what about 30% of the purchase price? Perhaps new purchasers should get as incentive an addendum to the contract stating if richmond americe sells the home for a lower price in the future the pruchaser is entitled to a rebate. Oh, and thanks for the 'thank you note and gift'...but wait, there was none. I guess after I signed on the dotted line I wasn't a customer anymore.
