Aliante's Discovery Park continues its popularity

As the summer months continue, the Aliante master planned community's 20-acre Nature Discovery Park continues to be a popular gathering place for area residents seeking some relief from the heat, according to Dan Naef, senior vice president of North Valley Enterprises LLC, the developer.

Cool breezes from Aliante's 1.5-acre lake, trees and shady rest spots draw residents and visitors of all ages to the park on a daily basis.

  • One of the most popular cooling-off spots within Nature Discovery Park is its children's wet play area, which is centered by a huge replica of a spraying water serpent.

"Nature Discovery Park was designed to provide enjoyment for area residents year-round, which certainly includes the summer season," Naef said. "It is amazing to see how many parents and kids stop by every day to enjoy the wet play area, as well as the other recreational amenities in the park."

Five neighborhoods are offered by three home builders within Aliante.

The community is a development of North Valley Enterprises LLC, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Pulte Homes.

Encompassing more than 1,900 acres, the community is bordered roughly by Grand Teton Drive, Centennial Parkway, Decatur Boulevard and Clayton Street. Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, intersects Aliante, providing easy access to Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 95.

The Aliante Station Hotel and Casino, which is set to open in November, will bring even more dining and entertainment attractions to the community.

The resort will be located at the northeast corner of I-215 and Aliante Parkway.

More information can be obtained at the Aliante Information Gallery, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, at aliantehomes.com, or by calling 866-787-2951.
