Aliante offers leisure

Residents and visitors of all ages can be seen throughout the seasons enjoying the many opportunities for outdoor recreation and leisure activities in the Aliante master-planned community. Kid's soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, volleyball, bocce ball, horseshoe pitching, biking and walking are just a few of the activities that are incorporated in Aliante.

According to Dan Naef, senior vice president of North Valley Enterprises LLC, developer of Aliante in North Las Vegas, prospective homebuyers should take time to drive through Aliante, visit the neighborhood's Information Gallery, and see how comprehensive planning with a commitment to providing a complete living environment resulted in one of Southern Nevada's most successful master-planned communities.

  • Naef said that along with quality housing and neighborhoods, a master-planned community should also provide residents with venues for recreation and social interaction.

"This means building more than just houses and neighborhoods for people to live in," Naef said. "It means fostering a pleasant lifestyle by providing facilities where people of all ages can enjoy activities and interaction with their neighbors.

"In our view, it's not just a house that people live in when they choose to live in a master-planned community like Aliante. It's an environment where they will be able to stroll or bike to nearby parks, shopping centers and other areas of interest."

One of Aliante's most popular recreational amenities is its 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, which features a lake with waterfalls and tributaries, a group picnic ramada, an amphitheater, three full-sized soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, volleyball stadium, horseshoe areas, bocce ball courts, children's wet play area and numerous shade structures, picnic tables and benches.

The park also features a zone specially designed to introduce children to aspects of paleontology in an active play environment.

Five neighborhoods offered by three home builders within Aliante.

About 428 acres in Aliante are designated for recreational and public purposes including the Aliante Golf Club.

Information regarding new homes and neighborhoods in Aliante can be obtained at the Aliante Information Gallery which is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. More information on the community and its amenities can also be obtained at aliantehomes.com or by calling 866-787-2951.
