Richmond American offers nine floor plans in Summerlin

Richmond American Homes is currently offering nine home floor plans in Ladera Canyon located in The Mesa village of Summerlin. Floor plans range from 1,750 to 2,800 square feet and are priced starting in the low $300,000s. To date, the home builder has sold nearly 150 homes in the neighborhood, which has proven popular with valley homebuyers given its well-designed floor plans, location and community amenities.

"At Richmond American, we pride ourselves on building homes in communities that have lots to offer our buyers, and Summerlin certainly does just that," said Ernie Belair, division president for Richmond American Homes.

  • "On top of the fantastic amenities in this beautiful master-planned community, Richmond American buyers in Summerlin love our available three-car garages, first floor masters and single-story floor plans," he said.

Ladera Canyon also features stone veneer elevations on all homes as well as miradors and loggias on select floor plans, which significantly enhances the overall curb appeal and architectural diversity of the neighborhood.

Located at the base of the Spring Mountains, Ladera Canyon offers residents a sense of exclusivity as well as scenic views.

"The mountain backdrop, contemporary architectural style and lush desert landscaping in The Mesa village combine to create a desirable location to call home," said Julie Cleaver, vice president of design and planning for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin.

Ladera Canyon is one of several neighborhoods planned for The Mesa village. Upon completion, the 500-acre village will be home to dozens of neighborhoods, miles of trails, a house of worship and The Mesa Park, a highly anticipated 19-acre community park scheduled to open this fall. The park features three little league baseball fields (one with a concession stand), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot area and picnic ramadas. The village is already home to one of Summerlin's newest private school, Bishop Gorman High School, which opened its 35-acre campus in 2007.

"Residents in The Mesa village will have the benefit of living close to abundant amenities, which is a top priority for many homebuyers," said Cleaver.
