Pardee beefs up Web site

The Internet sales division has become an increasingly important sales tool for builders, including Pardee Homes. Pardee currently employs Carolyn Berger and Aime Sibley as online sales counselors in its Internet division. These sales professionals help guide customers in their home buying process.

"The Internet has become an important tool for consumers researching everything from cheap flights to the best car deals," said Rob Tuvell, regional sales director for Pardee Homes. "New home sales are not different, as many of our customers use our Web site as a starting point for gathering information on our homes and communities before they visit one of our neighborhood sales offices."

  • Pardee's Internet sales division takes the online experience a step further by providing agents who are available daily to respond to inquiries.

"We get a number of families requesting information that are in far away time zones, or just want an answer to a quick question," Berger said. "We get a lot of military relocations, particularly from service members stationed overseas and the Internet is critical to communicating with these potential buyers."

Berger and Sibley work with potential buyers to identify their new home needs.

"The majority of our clients are just so happy to have a 'live' person to talk to as a complement to their online research," Berger said. "Yet, we function as a part of Pardee's sales force with the only exception is our customers come to us online instead of meeting us as a sales office."

Pardee Homes currently has homes available from the high $100,000s to more than $1 million throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Neighborhoods include Bella Fiore and Tremezzo at Lake Las Vegas Resort; Montclaire off of Horizon Ridge and Jeffries in Henderson; Arrowhead, Sierra and Crestline at Sunrise Mountain; Horizon and Northpointe in Eldorado; Riverstone at Prescott Park in North Las Vegas; Solamar at Vista Verde in Centennial Hills; Rosetta and Serrano in Mountain's Edge; and Trail Ridge near State Route 160 and Durango Road.
