Pardee's Solamar offers 7,000-square-foot lots

While many builders are offering smaller homes on smaller lots, home buyers can find large homes with big yards at Solamar, a new Pardee Homes' neighborhood at Vista Verde in northwestern Las Vegas.

Home sites at Solamar average 7,000 square feet and prices start from the high $200,000s. The one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,491 to 3,152 square feet with as many as five bedrooms.

  • "Solamar represents a unique opportunity for families to 'live large' at an attractive price in a LivingSmart, Pardee-planned community," said Rob Tuvell, regional sales director for Pardee Homes. "And, the floor plans accommodate a wide range of attractive options including a home theater, playroom, billiards room, library, hobby room and more."

All of Pardee's newly designed homes are part of the builder's LivingSmart brand, a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, according to Tuvell.

LivingSmart provides standard materials, systems and features with EnergySmart, EarthSmart, WaterSmart and HealthSmart advantages. Buyers can add other features such as whole-house water conditioning, tankless water heaters and central vacuum systems. Optional features vary by home and neighborhood.

Among the floor plans at Solamar is the single-story Plan One, which measures 2,491 square feet with as many as four bedrooms and 21/2 baths.

Plan Two is also a single-story plan that measures about 3,000 square feet with as many as four bedrooms and three baths.

Two-story plans at Solamar include Plan Three, which measures 2,931 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and three baths.

Plan Four is a 3,152-square-foot home, with as many as five bedrooms and three baths.

To visit Solamar from U.S. Highway 95 north, exit to Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, west. Exit Durango Drive and turn right. Turn left on Deer Springs Way, right on Grand Canyon Drive, then right on Bay Ledge Avenue to the models.

The models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

Located in Centennial Hills, Vista Verde is close to Mt. Charleston and Lee Canyon, as well as to Silver Stone Golf Club, Mountain Ridge Park and Las Vegas' Extreme Sports Park and Centennial Hills Hospital.
