  • "More than 18 years after Summerlin's inception, the community continues to offer abundant, diverse housing options that accommodate a variety of lifestyles," said Kevin Orrock, top division executive for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin. "Nearly 40,000 homes have sold in the community to date. With more than 9,000 acres left to develop in Summerlin, we expect the number of homes to more than double to 80,000 once the community is complete."

"For nearly two decades, Summerlin has attracted residents of all ages, backgrounds and interests," Orrock said.

"Diversity and multi-generational appeal form the foundation of the Summerlin community and contribute to its overall success."

Amenities include 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 150 completed miles of the Summerlin trail system, nine golf courses, a dozen houses of worship, shopping centers, medical and cultural facilities, business parks, 23 public and private schools.
