Pulte's Madeira Canyon suits couple

Mark and Cristi Leafstedt searched for a home after returning to Las Vegas from a brief move to Flagstaff, Ariz. The couple said they found what they needed at Pulte Homes' Madeira Canyon, a community located in the foothills of southern Henderson.

"We were looking specifically for a single-story floor plan and checked out a lot of resale homes, but never found anything that was just right," Mark Leafstedt said. "While we were looking at homes, we would see signs for Madeira Canyon, and when we finally decided to stop by and see the models, we knew our search had ended."

The home also includes a den, which they use as an office, and a casita, which they use to host family, such as their 10-year-old granddaughter, Arriah Van Guney.

Cristi Leafstedt's mother was also impressed by their new community.

The Club at Madeira Canyon neighborhood features homes that range from 2,096 to 4,817 square feet. Prices start from the lower $600,000s.
