American West extends Web services

American West has named long-time employee Jeremy Chyle Internet sales manager.

"So many people start the home buying process online that it makes perfect sense for us to be right there providing customer service from the moment there's interest," Chyle said.

  • Chyle's job starts when online home shoppers inquire about American West communities or request sales counseling at AmericanWestHomes.com. Chyle provides what he terms "concierge" services. Online shoppers can expect follow-up communication from him via postal mail, e-mail or telephone. In most cases, Chyle provides a personal guided tour of American West communities.

"I pick home buyers up at their convenience and we do a driving tour of American West communities that match their criteria," Chyle said. "The Internet is a great starting point, but nothing compares to an in-person guided tour."

Having worked at the company for more than a decade, Chyle has firsthand experience with nearly every facet of its operations. He said such experience helps him connect with home buyers and better serve their needs.

"In high school I worked as a laborer and prepared homes for closings, making sure everything was in perfect condition. I learned about our homes inside and out," Chyle said.

He also worked as a runner, and then moved into sales, assisting buyers at three American West communities over the years.

"My knowledge is comprehensive, so I'm in a great position to anticipate and address questions," he said.

Chyle is also an owner of the builder's products, having purchased two of the company's offerings for himself. "My first American West home was 1,646 square feet and my new one is twice the size," he said. "I know these homes from the ground up and wouldn't purchase anything but an American West home."

There are 11 American West communities situated in the south and southwest portions of the Las Vegas Valley. Neighborhoods are planned in proximity of schools, shopping centers, dining options and highway access.

Founded in 1984, American West has constructed more than 14,000 Southern Nevada homes.
