William Lyon Homes plans fall closings at Kingwood Crossing

William Lyon Homes sales agent Victor David said now is an ideal time for home buyers to purchase at Kingwood Crossing. According to David, buyers can personalize their homes with options and close in September. Kingwood Crossing is located in the Summerlin village of The Vistas.

"The timing is right on all counts," David said. "We have outstanding floor plan choices and the window is open for making selections. People who purchase now can enjoy the summer and have plenty of time to execute a well-planned, headache-free move."

  • Located near Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, the neighborhood is within Summerlin Centre and in proximity to newer schools, parks and trails.

"Kingwood Crossing offers that rare mix of natural and commercial lifestyle conveniences that adds so much value to a community," David said.

The neighborhood's single- and two-story floor plans range from 1,948 to 2,737 square feet with home designs offering up to five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and two- or three-car garages. Great-room and traditional layouts are available. Home buyers can opt for a den, loft, wet bar, built-in desk, patio cover, additional garage bay or additional bedrooms, based on home design.

Interiors are appointed with raised-panel doors, custom-recessed lighting, designer plant shelves and niches, kitchen island workstation and fireplace in the family room or great room.

Master bath highlights include an oval garden tub with cultured marble surround, separate shower stall and sit-down vanity. Ultra low-flow shower heads, low-e windows and programmable thermostats are standard. Homes are prewired for a security alarm and include CAT-5 wiring in select areas for high-speed Internet access. Some floor plans offer under-stairway storage, coffered ceilings and oversized front porch or interior courtyard.

Prices start in the low $400,000s. William Lyon Homes offers incentives on select home sites when buyers use the preferred lender.

The Vistas is planned to encompass three community parks, shopping, services and a public elementary school.

Model homes are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when they open at noon.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Charleston Boulevard and exit west. Turn right on Vista Center Drive, right on Vista Park Drive and right on Crown Forest. The Kingwood Crossing models are located on the right.
