KB offers designs in southwest

Offering 47 floor plans within five neighborhoods in Mountain's Edge, KB Home offers a wide range of home styles, sizes and prices, according to John McLaury, the company's director of sales.

KB's floor plans within the community range from 1,393 to 3,803 square feet. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

  • KB Home's neighborhoods include Chaco Canyon, Silver Hills, Sterling Ridge, Montecito and Alturas.

    Chaco Canyon offers three home collections and 21 floor plans.

    The Bonito features nine floor plans. The one- and two-story homes range from 1,611 to 2,964 square feet and offer two to six bedrooms, two to three baths and two-car garages. Homes include formal living and dining rooms, lofts and dens. Prices start in the high $200,000s.

    The Villas offers seven two-story floor plans ranging from 1,553 to 1,893 square feet. The homes feature three to four bedrooms, two baths and two-car garages. Select plans include lofts. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

    Anasazi homes range from 2,986 to 3,803 square feet. The five two-story floor plans offer three to six bedrooms, two to 3 1/2 baths and three-car garages. Two of the floor plans include first-floor master bedrooms. Prices start in the high $300,000s.

    Silver Hills features one- and two-story homes in eight floor plans, ranging from 1,713 to 3,027 square feet. Homes offer three to four bedrooms, two to three baths and two-car garages, lofts, dens, bonus and game rooms. Prices start in the high $200,000s.

    Sterling Ridge features two-story homes in eight floor plans, ranging from 1,393 to 2,035 square feet. Homes offer three to five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to three baths and one- and two-car garages. Select homes include lofts, dens and bonus rooms. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

    Montecito includes four two-story floor plans, which measure from 1,549 to 1,778 square feet. The plans offer two to four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and 1 1/2- and two-car garages. The neighborhood offers a community pool with hot tub and changing rooms. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

    Alturas neighborhood offers five three-story floor plans and one two-story floor plan. The homes range from 1,545 to 2,130 square feet and feature two to four bedrooms, 2 1/2 to three baths and two-car garages. Many include game rooms, dens and bonus rooms. The three-story homes offer the main living space on the second floor with bedrooms, dens or bonus rooms on the first floor and the master retreat or additional bedrooms on the third floor. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

    KB's homes in Mountain's Edge are Energy Star and Water Smart compliant.

    To visit, take the Blue Diamond Exit off Interstate 15, heading west. Travel about five miles and turn left on Buffalo Drive into the community's main entrance.     Sally Kluin wrote on January 23, 2008 12:15 PM: My realtor called and asked KB Homes in Tucson, AZ for a copy of the floor plan for the house I am buying on Lot 7 in the Black Horse Ranch community (community sits between Golder Ranch & Wilds roads). He was told that KB Floor Plans were propriety and protected information; NO they would not send it. I am going to own this home & just want to practice moving my furniture around in it before I actually move it. There are KB Homes floor plans all over the Internet. Why would they not provide it to someone who was living in one of their homes? Seems odd.
