Courtyard options at Tuscan Cliffs open possibilities for entertaining

Entertaining guests in the central courtyards, summer kitchens and common areas is an integral part of the design of the homes at Tuscan Cliffs, according to sales agent Rob Evon of Pacific Southwest Development.

The guard-gated neighborhood, located within the Southern Highlands community in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley, welcomed hundreds of guests to its grand opening reception held within its four model homes. Each household hosted a live music act, a catering staff offering hors d'oeuvres, and displays by department store Bloomingdale's.

  • "We had hundreds of people passing through, sometimes dozens at a time in a single house. It was the perfect way to showcase the possibilities of entertaining that these floor plans offer," Evon said.

The Bloomingdale's presentations showcased the interiors of the homes, including dining rooms, bedrooms and baths. Other areas of the homes include media rooms served by wet bars, dining rooms served by butler's pantries, decks and balconies. "These floor plans are for every occasion," Evon said.

Tuscan Cliffs features customizable estate homes in four floor plans offering more than 50 configurations. A total of 155 luxury estate homes are planned, each on a site measuring at least one-quarter acre. Premium lots, including some measuring half an acre and others built into the hillsides, are available.

Floor plans range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet. Standard amenities include paver stone driveways, sand-finished stucco exteriors, stainless steel appliances, exterior stone veneer, 42-inch maple cabinets and granite countertops. Base prices range from $1.05 million to $1.25 million.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when it opens at 1 p.m. For information, call 228-8559 or visit Pacific Southwest Development at pacificsouthwest.com.
