Centex Homes doubles the coverage

Centex Homes is extending its Two Year Fit and Finish Warranty from one-year coverage to two years -- at no extra cost. The industry-leading warranty is a testament to the builder's pledge of top-quality construction, workmanship and materials, according to Ronald Shallow, division construction manager.

"We're extremely dedicated to our customer service program and the Two Year Fit and Finish Warranty is at its core," Shallow said. "It's a year more than what the majority of other builders in town cover."

  • Home buyers who purchase a Centex home receive a written Limited Warranty administered by Residential Warranty Corp. for a 10-year warranty on designated structural elements and a one-year warranty on the general workmanship of the home. Since April 1, 2004, the builder has been providing home buyers with an additional year's worth of the warranty on fit and finish items, covering residents' second year of homeownership. The additional year of coverage comes solely from Centex Homes and transfers automatically to anyone who buys the home at any time up to the second anniversary of the effective date.

Home buyers appreciate the personal service Centex delivers before, during and after the sale, according to Todd Kirk, area construction manager. "We have our warranty limits, but we don't put a limit on calls from homeowners," he said. "If a home buyer calls after her warranty expires, we'll address the problem by providing direction and a referral--regardless of the age of the home. That's the Centex difference."

Home buyers can take advantage of neighborhood closeout pricing and receive Centex's signature Two Year Fit and Finish Warranty at six communities throughout the Las Vegas Valley. North Las Vegas features five closeout neighborhoods -- Aberdeen Falls, Latourell Falls, Traditions, Cantura and Giavanna II.

Home buyers can choose from single- and two-story floor plans ranging from 1,200 to 3,807 square feet. Prices range from the low $200,000s to the mid-$300,000s. Neighborhoods offer access to Interstate 15, Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, parks and shopping centers.

Encantada, a privately gated neighborhood in the southwest portion of the valley, is also in its closeout phase. Remaining two-story homes measure 1,483 to 1,685 square feet. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

Sales hours at all Centex communities are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when they open at noon. For more information, call 888-370-4439 or visit centexvegas.com for a community map and details on shopping, services, schools and amenities.
