  • "We rarely pass classic cars on Southern Nevada's roads, so the show will be a great chance for all of us to get up close to some real gems," sales agent Sabrina Torblaa said. "Everyone has a favorite car category and people are really excited to see what members of the Las Vegas Cruisin' Association roll up on Friday night."

Complimentary food will be provided by Memphis Championship Barbecue. The Mike O'Brian Band will perform classic rock hits, while KKLZ Classic Hits and Coyote Country will broadcast live from the event.

Ardiente's model homes and the 13,000-square-foot community clubhouse will be open for touring during the event.

"Practically everyone has a relative, neighbor, co-worker or friend who fits our age 55-or-better qualification. We encourage car show goers to explore Ardiente for themselves or someone they know," Torblaa said. "People will be amazed when they get a glimpse into the Ardiente lifestyle."

The guard-gated community features a clubhouse and a pair of swimming pools on an expansive landscape, as well as a fitness center and a game room.

Other outdoor amenities include a putting green, chipping green, tennis courts and six themed parks. A 24-hour roving patrol provides security for residents.

Ardiente offers eight single-story floor plans, ranging from 1,235 to 2,813 square feet. Home designs include up to three bedrooms and as many baths. Home buyers can choose from layouts with a den, dining room, eating nook, courtyard, studio, gallery or music room. Selected master suites feature dual walk-in closets. Structural variations, depending on floor plan, can accommodate a sunroom, office, guest suite or second floor.

    Prices start in the $250,000s.

Homes come with raised-panel interior doors, upgraded baseboards, levered chrome hardware, ceiling fans in select areas, laundry room cabinets and a kitchen pantry. Every home comes with security alarm system prewiring and a soft water loop. Homes have low-e windows and bear the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star seal of approval.

Centex has incentive programs for educators, healthcare providers, firefighters and law enforcement personnel as well as active, reserve, retired and veteran military members.

While model homes will be open for extended hours during the car show, the normal hours for touring are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

To attend the Ardiente Classic Cruisin' Car Show, take Interstate 15 and exit west on Craig Road. Turn right on Losee Road, then right on Ann Road, which turns into Tropical Parkway. Turn right on Walnut Road and follow the signs to Ardiante.
