Ryland Homes unveils 6 model homes at Davyn Ridge with a weekend grand opening event

This weekend, Ryland Homes celebrates the grand opening of two new neighborhoods at Davyn Ridge, Kardelo and Laredo. The grand opening even will offer tours of the model homes, refreshments and entertainment.

Local radio station Jack FM, 100.5 will broadcast from the event via live remote today from 10 a.m. to noon and KWID, 101.9, will broadcast live Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.

  • Laredo at Davyn Ridge features a selection of three home designs, ranging from 1,702 to 3,088 square feet. Each design offers an open living area highlighted by an island kitchen with Corian counters.

    Standard appointments include high ceilings, master suites with walk-in closets, dual vanities and separate glass-enclosed showers and soaking tubs. The three- to four-bedroom floor plans offer an optional fifth bedroom and two to three baths.

    Prices begin from the upper $200,000s.

    Home designs at Kardelo range from 2,235 to 3,684 square feet. Standard features include an island-kitchen layout with Corian counters, high ceilings and master suite with private master bath. Floor plans range from three to six bedrooms and 2 1/2 to four baths. Homes offer a two- to three-car garage. Prices start from the low $300,000s.

    Located in the northern portion of the Las Vegas Valley, the Dayvn Ridge community is in proximity to elementary, middle and high schools, Silver Mesa Recreational Center, major retail outlets and golfing at Craig Ranch.

    "Home buyers are having a great response to the model homes," said sales agent Don Williams. "The decorators have struck just the right note with contemporary, light-filled designs that are the perfect complement to the innovative floor plans."

    According to Williams, the builder's option of double lofts have become the homes' most admired feature. In addition to a great room on the ground floor, the double loft space can be used for entertaining friends and extended family, with the option of a second loft on the upper floor.

    Ryland Homes' My Style Design Center offers a selection of designer upgrades and decorating enhancements, from floor coverings and window treatments to counters and cabinets.
