Rhodes Homes launches The Majors

Rhodes Homes kicked off the sales of The Majors, a collection of two-story homes at Rhodes Ranch in the southwestern valley, June 16 and 17.

Prospective buyers stopped by to learn about the master-planned community's 18-hole golf course and other amenities available to residents.

  • "We were pleasantly surprised at the attention that The Majors drew from buyers looking for great value in one of the most desirable master plans in Las Vegas," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Rhodes Homes.

"Buyers have really responded to our new bottom-line pricing structure that is in place at The Majors, and that's helped get the neighborhood off to a great start."

The models at The Majors include the 3021 and 3431 floor plans that are named for their respective square footage. Prices start in the low $400,000s.

Model 3021 has an open first floor with a great room that includes the kitchen and family room. The great room flows into a dining room and living room highlighted by a spiral staircase.

The 3021 has three bedrooms upstairs, with the master suite separated by a loft.

The Majors' other floor plan, Model 3431, also utilizes a great room on its first floor, with the kitchen, casual dining area and family room all located in an open area with a view of the backyard.

The formal dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, separated by a doorway.

"The opening weekend showed a positive response from home buyers that toured the models," Soucie said.

"The Majors are incredibly well appointed and deliver style and function in a way that's quite rare in comparison to other homes in the Las Vegas Valley."

Residents of The Majors will have access to all the amenities offered at Rhodes Ranch, including a Ted Robinson-designed 18-hole golf course, a guard-gated community with a park-like atmosphere, and a 35,000-square-foot recreation center called the R-Club.

The R-Club has an indoor workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, full-length basketball court, two racquetball/handball courts and six billiards tables.

The facility has meeting rooms and social areas that feature fireplaces and couches.

The R-Club recently opened the Fun Zone Water Park for residents. It includes two swimming pools, a lap pool, water slides, tennis courts, basketball courts and a picnic area.

To visit The Majors, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive, and then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway where the entrance to Rhodes Ranch is framed with palm trees.

Sales office hours at The Majors, and the rest of the model homes at Rhodes Ranch, are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more information on Rhodes Homes and its amenities and other Rhodes communities, visit rhodeshomes.com.
