Wolfson Lofts features contemporary architecture in Scotch Eighties area

When Ken Wolfson designed The Avenue by Wolfson Lofts, a five-story building of five ultra-loft residences above office space, he said he had forward-thinking professionals in mind.

"The pursuit of great design and top-quality materials is our focus and it is with that fresh approach that The Avenue came to fruition," Wolfson said.

The lofts contemporary architecture of 18-foot coffered ceilings within an exterior of steel and stone is complemented by the historic setting of Las Vegas' Scotch Eighties and Rancho Circle. The loft-condominiums offer a two-story layout, measuring from 1,580 to 3,350 square feet. The ground level's three office condos measure 287, 728 and 1,049 square feet and are designed specifically for professional use.

The limited number of units allows residents to experience a measure of privacy, according to Wolfson.

"The Avenue promotes a small community feel for people who want to know their neighbors, yet want the privacy of an exclusive community," he said. "These ultra lofts cater to individuals who want the freedom to live and work in a space that promotes comfort and luxury.

"The Avenue is a place where the jet-setting professional can live close to the epicenter of the entertainment and business community, yet still enjoy a classic, urban neighborhood setting."

Construction is nearing completion with the five-story building already topped off. The developer is offering hard-hat tours for interested buyers.

Each floor plan offers an open, true-loft layout highlighted by an 18-foot-ledge stone fireplace, double French doors onto balcony space with city views and spa-style baths set with decorator fixtures. Kitchens include stainless steel KitchenAid appliances.

The development offers a private two-car garage for each resident and private, secured storage rooms.

The Avenue is within proximity to shopping, dining and business centers, in addition to access to the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, The World Market Center, Premium Outlet Mall and the new Springs Preserve.

The expected completion date and move-ins are scheduled for September 2007. Prices for the lofts start in the $700,000s.
