AFTER HOURS: Ryland turns on night light for buyers

Builder keeps models open for late-night viewing for home shoppers

Ryland Homes is keeping its models open until 9 p.m. Aug. 16 in selected areas of the Las Vegas Valley.

In the southwest, 21 model homes stay open late at the Mountain's Edge and Indigo communities. In the northwest, there will be eight model homes open late at the Providence community.

  • "At Ryland, we understand that it takes a home shopper time to find the home they truly love and want to make their own," said Ryland Homes marketing manager Ashley Gant. "In the heat of the summer we want to provide an opportunity for those who prefer getting out in the evening rather than in the heat of the day. Many home shoppers are working during standard business hours and Ryland really wants to provide time after work on the weekdays to tour our model homes and work with our staff to find the home that best suits them."

    Prices range from the mid-$200,000s to the mid-$500,000s for homes measuring 1,400 to 4,200 square feet.

    Located in Providence, Auburn and Bradford are neighborhoods of one, two- and three-story homes, which measure 2,970 square feet, with as many as five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and two-car garages. Prices start from the low $300,000s. Call 622-1540 for more information.

    Ryland offers five gated neighborhoods at Mountain's Edge. The Augusta, Belford and Ellingwood subdivisions offer homes measuring 1,593 to 4,262 square feet with as many as seven bedrooms.

    The Cameron and Crestone neighborhoods at Mountain's Edge have interior designs with as many as four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and two-car garages.
