  • The six model homes showcase contemporary style. Amenities include oversized picture windows and 9-, 10- or 12-foot ceilings. Customizing options are available, such as lofts, master bedroom retreats, media rooms, additional bedrooms, decks, covered patios and fireplaces.

"We can do some of the plans as three-, four-, five- or even six-bedroom homes," sales agent Don Williams said. "Ryland Homes' ability to tailor the plans to the buyer's personal needs is unsurpassed in the industry."

Davyn Ridge, a "pocket" or "infill" community, is situated on a piece of land surrounded by existing neighborhoods. It features a private entrance.

Laredo features the Saguaro, Sonora and Chaparral plans, and they range from 1,702 to 3,088 square feet.

Each features a casual living area where the kitchen opens to a family room. All homes come with many standard features, including high ceilings, kitchens with islands and Corian countertops, and master suites with walk-in closets, dual vanities, and separate glass-enclosed showers and soaking tubs. With floor plans of three to four bedrooms (with an optional fifth bedroom on select plans) and two to three baths, the Laredo homes are priced from the upper $200,000s.

Del Rio, Del Mar and Del Rey, the three spacious home designs of Kardelo at Davyn Ridge, range from about 2,235 to 3,684 square feet. These homes come standard with many of the same features of the Laredo designs, from high ceilings to master suites.

Floor plans range from three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with a two-car garage to six bedrooms, four baths and a three-car garage.

Prices start from the low $300,000s.

Customizing options are available at Davyn Ridge, as the builder's My Style Design Center offers a selection of designer upgrades and decorating enhancements.

From floor coverings and window treatments to counters, cabinets and more, buyers can tailor their homes to suit their needs.

To visit Ryland's Davyn Ridge take U.S. Highway 95, exit Cheyenne Avenue and head east. Turn left on Decatur Boulevard, right on Gowan Road, left on Flushing River and right on Burma Drive. The model homes are located to the left.
