Foreclosure seminar set

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is offering a free Facing Foreclosure Seminar Sept. 8 at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. Government officials and representatives of mortgage lenders will provide information to people facing the possible loss of their home, HUD spokesman Larry Bush said.

The seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pebble Beach Meeting Room at the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street.
