Pageantry to construct houses in The Mesa Village at Summerlin

The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of the master-planned community of Summerlin, welcomed Pageantry Homes to the community as its 14th home builder.

Plans for Pageantry's multi-family neighborhood are under way with an anticipated opening scheduled for the early fall of 2008. The neighborhood will be located in The Mesa Village, Summerlin's newest and most southern village developed to date.

  • "Summerlin is the valley's most recognizable and successful master-planned community in Las Vegas," said Bill Hoover, southwest regional president for the builder. "And we want to be a part of it -- it's that simple."

    Pageantry Homes is a regional home-building company with communities throughout Nevada, Arizona and Washington. The firm specializes in both attached and detached single-family homes that appeal to first-time home buyers, retirees, young professionals and new families.

    Pageantry's other developments in the Las Vegas Valley include Ridgewood in the heart of Silverado Ranch, and Valencia Terrace on the east side. In the southern valley, Pageantry is building Loretto Bay, Wine Ridge Estates and Pebble Crossing.

    "It is always a pleasure welcoming new builders to Summerlin," said Kevin Orrock, top division president of The Howard Hughes Corp., an affiliate of General Growth Properties and developer of Summerlin. "We look forward to working with Pageantry and wish them success in their first Summerlin neighborhood."

    Summerlin began to take shape in 1990 and is a 22,500-acre master-planned community located along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley.

    The community is home to more than 95,000 residents and more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 150 completed miles of the Summerlin trail system, houses of worship, shopping centers, cultural facilities, medical facilities, business parks and more than 100 actively selling floor plans.

    Single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and lofts are available. Prices range from the low $200,000s to more than $2 million. Custom home sites in The Ridges are priced from the $500,000s. Apartment homes offer monthly rents starting from the low $1,000s.
