  • Five one- and two-story floor plans are offered at this guard-gated community, ranging in size from 3,481 to more than 5,300 square feet. Prices begin in the mid-$900,000s.

The homes feature architectural and design details such as entry courtyards, towering turret foyers, formal living rooms with coffered ceilings, Jacuzzi tubs in lavish master baths, elegant dining rooms and kitchens with breakfast areas.

Three professionally decorated models are the Brindisi, Treporti and Vercelli.

Floor plans include three to five bedrooms, and split three- or four-car garages.

One of the highlights of the Brindisi model is its optional two-story guest casita, which features a kitchenette and full bath.

The home, which is almost 4,900 square feet, includes four bedroom suites, 5 1/2 baths and a studio.

A distinctive oval foyer separates the formal living area from a den. The dining room is connected to the kitchen by a butler's pantry.

An entry courtyard is just the start of the two-story Treporti model, which at 4,592 square feet includes four bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and a kitchen with a walk-in pantry.

The 4,536-square-foot Vercelli has four bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths and includes a casita. Its turret entry tower opens to a private courtyard. Upstairs, a private owner's retreat features a bath with his-and-her walk-in closets.

Other plans offered at Toll Brothers at MacDonald Highlands-The Retreat, include the Modena, a two-story home with five bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths.

The largest home offered at The Retreat at 5,284 square feet, the Modena also includes a split four-car garage.

Also available is the Sondrio, a 3,481-square-foot, single-story home with three bedroom suites, den and kitchen.

To reach Toll Brothers at MacDonald Highlands-The Retreat, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway to Valle Verde Drive. Travel south to the community gates. The guards will direct visitors to the models. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
