Couple uses Web to find Pardee

As a software architect for a major health care insurance company, Atul Apte could live anywhere he and his wife, Arati, wanted, as long as it was "an easy commute and not too cold," according to Atul Apte. With one home in Canada, the Aptes started looking for a primary residence in Southern California, and instead found a home online, which met all the couple's requirements, hundreds of miles away at Solstice, Pardee Homes' newest Southern Nevada community.
Their search started in Southern California where they were impressed with the design and quality of Pardee Homes they visited. They found via the Pardee Web site that they could get the same quality home at a lower price in Southern Nevada.
"The Web site told us where to move," Atul Apte said.
He said connecting with Pardee online sales counselor Shannon Marler made it easy to manage the buying process from long distance.
"That made a big difference for us," he said.
"Because of his travels, he was only available by e-mail," said Marler, who stayed in communication with Atul Apte through the purchase and all the way through closing.
"He gave us his requirements and the Plan Three at Solstice met them all."
According to Arati Apte, the new home is perfect for the couple.
"I love the walk-through pantry and the spacious floor plan," Arati Apte said. "I've already met my neighbors, I can walk to everything and I feel more secure in a gated community."
In addition to the floor plan, location, and quality of workmanship in their new Solstice home, Atul Apte said he appreciated Pardee's team approach to the sales process "while doing the search from a remote place."
Located in the master-planned community of Aliante in North Las Vegas, the Solstice neighborhood features the builder's LivingSmart brand, a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes.
The five floor plans at Solstice range from 2,337 to 3,959 square feet with up to six bedrooms. Prices at the gated neighborhood start at $233,450.
Solstice is located just off of Aliante Parkway and Nature Park Drive, within walking distance to the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park in Aliante, as well as close to retail and restaurants, schools, the Aliante Library and access to the 215 Beltway.
"Aliante has matured into one of the valley's premier master-planned communities with many new amenities and services," said Pardee Homes Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell.
The single-story Plan One at Solstice measures 2,337 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths and a den, which can be built as an optional fourth bedroom and third bath.
The two-story Plan Two measures 2,664 square feet with up to five bedrooms and three baths, including a bedroom and full bath located on the first floor. The Plan Two X adds a bonus room or optional sixth and seventh bedrooms with a full-bath, which brings the total square size of the home to about 3,110 square feet.
Solstice Plan Three is a two-story plan that measures 3,643 square feet with up to five bedrooms and three baths. The floor plan includes a bonus room and den or optional fifth bedroom and third bath.
Plan Four measures 3,959 square feet with six bedrooms and four baths, downstairs library, bedroom and full bath and upstairs loft and guest suite option with a private bath in lieu of the fifth and sixth bedrooms.
For the second consecutive year the Southern Nevada Division of Pardee Homes has received the highest rankings from J. D. Power and Associates for overall customer satisfaction and new-home quality in the Las Vegas market.

I have a thirteen year old girl, and honest to god every day I wake up I am thankful that I have an incredible insurance policy that pays for my medical insurance. I found insurance from Wise Health Insurance website and it doesn’t pay 100% on everything, but when I receive the bill and find out just how much I would have had to pay had I not been insured I realize that there is no way in the world that I could have afforded kind of care without it.
