The decision to stay with an existing home or look for a new one is not always an easy decision.
Jack Williams, a current Trilogy member, described his recent experience.
"We went home and sold our house that we actually owned for 36 years and made a big change that, in our lives, was probably one of the best changes we ever made, Williams said."
For many, including Shea Active Lifestyle homeowners Tom and Gayle Cook, the most important question is: What is the cost of not pursuing one's dreams for retirement?

Ryan Smith, sales manager at Shea Homes at Ardiente in Las Vegas, says baby boomers may be surprised that there are significant values to be had in the current economy.

When considering the cost of buying a new home, resale or staying with an existing residence, boomers should assess the cost and time associated with fixing up an older residence and savings that can come from green features built in to many new homes, according to Smith.
