New homes in the master-planned community of Tuscany Village by Dunhill Homes start at $149,990 with free upgrades and incentives.

"As if the value on the home itself wasn't enough, Dunhill Homes is sweetening the deal by offering free upgrades on kitchen countertops, cabinets and appliances," said Marietta Manayan, Dunhill Homes sales agent.

"New homebuyers also can save thousands with Dunhill providing up to 3 percent of the home's sale price to be used for closing costs when you use our preferred lender. This is a savings of up to $10,000."

Dunhill has eight single-story floor plans and one two-story plan at Tuscany Village, ranging from 1,264 to 2,700 square feet.

"Single-story floor plans are very popular, and we have eight in one community to help you find the best fit for your lifestyle," Manayan said.

"Single-story homes give you a bigger feeling of space in your home, especially with those that have higher ceilings.

"As soon as you enter through the guard gates, you are transformed to the Italian hillsides, not just another tract housing neighborhood. You have your own multimillion dollar community center and hundreds of options for recreation and socializing. And this is all available within the comfort of your community," she said.

Amenities include 24-hour guard-gated entrance, community center, swimming pools, an 18-hole championship golf course and 50 channels of cable television.

Dunhill Homes' 35,000-square-foot La Vita Tuscana recreation center at Tuscany Village includes a lap pool, lagoon pool, hot tubs, full work-out facility, aerobics room, indoor and outdoor basketball, racquetball, tennis, arts and crafts rooms, billiards, conference rooms, social areas, park areas and jungle gyms.

A centerpiece of the community is the Tuscany Golf Club, designed by golf course architect Ted Robinson Jr. The 6,906-yard, par 72 course was named Golf Magazine's No. 1 Golf Course in Las Vegas in its annual BBQ (Bang for the Buck Quotient) rankings.

To visit Tuscany Village, take Lake Mead Drive in Henderson heading east. Follow the signs to the community and turn left on Mohawk Drive to the main entrance. Tuscany's sales office is located in the La Vita Tuscana recreation center and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more information, call 873-7287 or visit dunhillhomes.com.
