Kurt Busch to host golf tournament to be held at DragonRidge Country Club

The Kurt Busch Foundation and Golden Gaming Inc. is holding the Golden Gaming Golf Tournament hosted by Kurt Busch at the DragonRidge Country Club in MacDonald Highlands Dec. 1 to benefit the foundation.

"This tournament is a great way to have a good time with friends while playing for a good cause," Busch said. "It's always nice to see the support the foundation gets in my hometown of Las Vegas."

  • "We are honored to be able to host this event in support of Kurt Busch and his foundation," said Christopher Abraham, vice president of marketing for Golden Gaming Inc. "This tournament provides a fun venue for us to help a great cause."

    Breakfast will be served for all golfers beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Kurt Busch and a select group of fellow NASCAR drivers will be in attendance giving guests the chance to golf with their favorite drivers. There will also be contests throughout the course including hole in one, closest to the pin and longest drive among others. There will be a chance to win a one-of-a-kind Dodge SRT8 Charger.

    Membership packages are now available to enter the tournament. Gold membership is available for $1,750 and includes a team of four golfers, hole sponsorship with tee box signage, complimentary gift bag, continental breakfast at DragonRidge and a post-round lunch. Silver membership is available for $1,250 and includes a team of four golfers, complimentary gift bag, continental breakfast at DragonRidge and a post-round lunch. Golfers can register before Oct. 31 by calling 891-4290.

    All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Kurt Busch Foundation. Sponsors of the event include Golden Gaming and MillerCoors.

    The mission of the Kurt Busch Foundation is to lend support to organizations involved in the areas of health care, education, career training and rehabilitation as well as provide assistance to individuals. For more information, visit kurtbusch.com.

    The community's information center is located at 1730 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway. To get there, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Valle Verde Drive and travel south to the corner of Valle Verde and Horizon Ridge. The office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
