Mira Villa, the new luxury condominium community located in the heart of Summerlin, welcomed its first new residents, including Marcia and David Cook.

Having recently retired, the Cooks were looking for a home they could settle into that was low-maintenance, but also provided them the ability to lock up and travel whenever they wanted. After touring Mira Villa, the Cooks downsized from their home in Anthem Country Club and moved to Summerlin. According to the Cooks, they wanted to be closer to their grandchildren, who live in the area.

"Downsizing didn't mean giving up the amenities we were accustomed to," said Marcia Cook. "Mira Villa offered everything that we were looking for and more. Luxury living on a golf course, swimming pools, spas, exercise facilities, walking paths and single-story floor plans in a midrise building."

Created as a resort, Mira Villa offers a collection of designed homes, established with access golf, shopping, spa, entertainment and dining.

The community features 113 unique single-level condominium homes, ranging in size from 2,000 to 4,000-square-feet. Most of the homes within Mira Villa come complete with private elevators, expansive terraces with city and mountain views, a minimum of a two-car garage and access to the community's amenities including a waterfall pool, multiple Jacuzzis, state-of-the-art fitness center and clubhouse.

"Marcia and David Cook are the embodiment of what we are finding as the quintessential Mira Villa homeowner," said Jason Demuth, director of marketing for Nexus 30, the sales and marketing firm representing Mira Villa. "They were looking for a convenient lock-and-leave environment with amenities."

Mira Villa offers the only new golf-front residences available in Summerlin. The gated community is tucked between two award-winning golf courses, TPC Summerlin and Angel Park Golf Club, and the JW Marriott Resort & Spa Las Vegas.

Prices at Mira Villa start in the $300,000s.
