Shea Homes prepares for grand opening
Tools
Shea Homes will be hosting an island-style grand opening Oct. 16 and 17 at Ardiente, an age-qualified community in Las Vegas. The event will be held in the resort-style clubhouse with entertainment, island music, food, activities, two pools and the premiere of three brand-new model homes.
"This grand opening is very significant for people 55 and over looking to launch a new life in Las Vegas,"' said Ryan Smith, community sales manager.
"With 11 resort communities specifically designed for active adults throughout the United States, Shea Homes has considerable insight into boomer attitudes, how they live and what they're looking for in a home," Smith said. "We listen to our homeowners and incorporate their comments and suggestions into our designs."
Among the 10 home designs available at Ardiente are three brand-new models -- Rome, Monaco and Nice -- that feature as many as 12 floor plan options per plan, which provide buyers with the opportunity to personalize their home. All are single-story and built to Shea Green Certified standards, which, according to Smith, offer potential energy savings of as much as 30 percent and a carbon footprint reduction with as much as 48 percent.
Rome measures 1,426 square feet and features two bedrooms, den and two baths with options for a third bedroom and extended patio. A covered patio is next to the kitchen and nook area.
Monaco measures 1,583 square feet and features two bedrooms, den and two baths with the option to convert the master bedroom into a master retreat.
The largest model, Nice measures 1,930 square feet and features two bedrooms, den, two baths, a floating island in the kitchen, private dining room off of a covered patio to maximize indoor and outdoor dining opportunities, and SmartSpace laundry and work room.
"With all of the opportunities to customize floor plans, plus the more than 2,000 personalized selections available through our Design Studio, buyers can create what is essentially a one-of-a-kind home," Smith said.
Shea Homes at Ardiente are priced from the mid-$100,000s.
The gated resort community is designed with amenities including the 20,000-square-foot clubhouse. The center features a state-of-the-art fitness center, group exercise room, basketball court, billiard room and a multipurpose meeting/event center. Additional outdoor recreational amenities include tennis and bocce courts, a challenging putting green and seven parks interconnected by 2.5 miles of walking and fitness challenge trails.
The model gallery is open daily at 5840 Summit Greens St. in North Las Vegas. For more information, visit SheaArdiente.com or call 224-8200.
