Harmon dominant for Shadow Ridge

Pitcher shuts down Cimarron-Memorial




Mandy Harmon pitched a two-hit shutout with six strikeouts Friday as Shadow Ridge's softball team posted a 12-0 win at Cimarron-Memorial.

Harmon was 2-for-2 and scored two runs for the Mustangs. Rayna Bradshaw went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs. Ashley Huddleston was 2-for-4 with a home run.

  • Palo Verde 9, Legacy 1 -- At Palo Verde, Missy McCormick tossed a one-hitter to lift the Panthers.

    Alex Alakai went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for Palo Verde, and Lauryn Stover went 3-for-3.

    Kayla Murray scored after posting the Longhorns' lone hit, a fourth-inning single.

    Centennial 4, Arbor View 2 -- At Centennial, Julia Bucy went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs to help the Bulldogs.

    Lauren Lynds pitched a three-hitter for Centennial.

    Cheyenne 8, Mojave 1 -- At Cheyenne, Lexi Galindo threw a three-hitter and struck out 13 to lift the Desert Shields.

    Katelyn Barnum went 3-for-3 for Cheyenne, and Alli Lintner and Galindo were each 2-for-4.

    Green Valley 1, Silverado 0 -- At Green Valley, Alicia Firelein tossed a two-hitter to help the Gators pull into a tie for first place with Silverado in the Southeast Division.

    Kayla Anderson's RBI single in the third inning plated Shelbi Vickers with the lone run.

    Coronado 3, Basic 1 -- At Coronado, Kim Makiri pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven to lift the Cougars.

    Makiri also had a triple and an RBI.

    Foothill 12, Del Sol 2 -- At Foothill, Amber Stater went 3-for-4 with a home run to lift the Falcons to a five-inning win.

    Rosanne Ritchie went 2-for-2 for the Falcons.

    Liberty 16, Tech 0 -- At Liberty, Robin Lowery pitched a shutout, striking out six and holding the Roadrunners to four hits over five innings.

    Breanna English went 3-for-3 with a double and four runs, and Kristina Foti went 2-for-2 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs for Liberty.

    Sierra Vista 6, Rancho 3 -- At Sierra Vista, Andrea McIntosh went 2-for-3 with an RBI to help the Lions beat the Rams.

    Desiree Laswell went the distance for Sierra Vista, striking out 11.

    Clark 5, Valley 0 -- At Valley, Jordyn McDonald pitched a four-hitter and struck out 15 to lift Clark past the Vikings.

    McDonald was 4-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run.

    Mountain View 5-16, Lake Mead 4-2 -- At Mountain View, the Saints' Valencia Casey had a triple and an RBI in the opener and went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs in the nightcap.

    Pahrump Valley 12-11, Virgin Valley 1-1 -- At Pahrump Valley, Ashleah Barney held the Bulldogs to one run on six hits in five innings in Game 1.

    In Game 2, Tori Thomas held the Bulldogs to one run on three hits to complete the sweep.
