Terrible's Primm 300 pivotal in points races

The SCORE desert racing series' three-month layoff ends Saturday with the 13th annual Terrible's Primm 300, and with only five points races this year, the event will play a more significant role in determining season champions.

The Primm race, which will be run behind Buffalo Bill's, off Interstate 15 south of Las Vegas, is the fourth event of the year with only the Nov. 20-22 Baja 1000 remaining after this weekend.
