Kaepernick, UNR pile up 507 yards of offense, romp to conference victory over Idaho

MOSCOW, Idaho -- Colin Kaepernick threw for two touchdowns, and Vai Taua ran for three more as UNR beat Idaho 49-14 on Saturday.

UNR (3-2, 1-0 Western Athletic Conference) racked up 507 yards of total offense.

  • Kaepernick went 19-for-24 for 243 yards with no interceptions, and Taua had 94 yards on 21 carries.

    The Vandals (1-5, 0-2) trailed 28-0 in the third quarter before Eddie Williams scored their first points on a 10-yard touchdown catch.

    Nathan Enderle led Idaho with 226 yards passing, going 18-for-36 with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Williams had 10 catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
